Spaghetti, egg, and Parmesan cheese with meatballs

No idea what to really call this, it's just something similar to what my dad use to make as a simple thing when he'd actually cook food.

The original version he'd make was with spaghetti noodles, eggs, parmesan cheese, and corn. It's really simple to make and rather filling. I made mine this way because i didn't check if we had corn and i wanted to have the meatballs with spaghetti, but i don't have any pasta sauce.

I ended up adding like 4 eggs into this, could of gone less, but i didn't. I did kinda miss the corn being in it, gives it a refreshing crunch to it.

Organics Cranberry Walnut Salad

I've had these before but figured i'd go ahead and share it. Normally have the safeway brand though.

There are other flavors on this one also for other brands there's more flavors. I typically just go for the cranberry walnut ones. Difference between this one and the safeway one i usually get, the safeway brand one has candied walnuts, this one does not. There is also less walnuts and cranberries because they also add pita chips, that i never eat.

Here's how it looks opened.

I love the little forks that come with it. makes it nice for an on the go quick grab. though with the salad all packed down doesn't look that good. so i either put in a new bowl since i'm usually home or i just try and fluff it.

Here's my prettied up salad

Since i'm use to the safeway brand one with the candied walnuts, i felt this one was missing something because it lacked that extra sweetness.

Marie Callender's Honey Butter Corn Bread & Muffin Mix

Found a not spicy one. I believe i found this one at Safeway instead of Walmart this time. Again i wanted to get and try this because of the option to make it in the microwave. Then you can have cornbread even on hot days.

Simple enough to make, just add water and cook. This time it said that you should put an upside down plate in the microwave to put the cornbread on when cooking. Don't think you are suppose to on the other one...or i missed it.

Messy microwave >.<

So got it all cooked and took it out and ate it. Well only like half of it. It's crumbly. It could probably be good if you needed cornbread that is crumbled. Just wasn't that good to just cut a piece and eat. Was hard to butter too.

I normally use Jiffy for my cornbread. So when i compare the two, i prefer Jiffy. I also normally make cornbread muffins instead of one large one because then it's more likely to get eaten in my house.

All in all, I probably won't be buying this again. I like trying new things, so since i tried it, i know i don't like it.

Golden Kiwis

My mom bought this one time years ago just because of "hey we've never tried this before" and at the time they were sold with these spoon/knifes to each them with. We have a few of them, have yet to see them again since we got them. You can do the same thing as it with just a knife and a spoon, i just get to use a fun version.

You can eat them however you want to, cut them up, add them to things, or whatever it is you'd use a golden kiwi for(or possibly in place of normal kiwi, but flavor is a little different). I just want to show the only way i'll eat a golden kiwi.

Start by cutting off just one end.

You can scoot out what you can from the part you cut off if you want, but the opening needs to be large enough for the spoon. Thinking about it, you could probably just cut it in half and just each both halves too.

Stick the spoon in....

Scoop....And Enjoy :)

Here's mine being empty.

Now for those of you who have never ate, or possible never heard of golden kiwis, you might be wondering about the taste. Had to eat another one just before writing this to get a fresh taste of it to be able to write about it. Ate it the same way as above, but this time i used one of my daughter's little spoons...should of used my spook/knife lol.

Alright, for the taste, I'd say it's got a sweeter taste. I can't exactly compare the taste to a normal kiwi because it's been a long time since i had one. The texture is a little softer though, you can't do this eating method with a normal kiwi, i tried before, it was hard. I do have a habit of hardly chewing kiwi's when i eat them because their seeds burn if you bite them, so because of that, not sure if i've bitten a golden kiwi's seeds to see if they also burn.

I do find that these are pretty good for when you want a small fruit snack but still want to feel like you are eating something by using utensils.

Trip to Klamath Falls Oregon 8/16-8/19

The trip to Klamath wasn't for the best reasons. A cousin of mine died and we were heading down there to go to the memorial service for him. I'm not amazing close to my extended family, but i wanted to go to show my support and to get out of the house for a weekend. I think it's about a 5 hour drive or something from my town, I live up north from there. My mom, daughter, and i are the ones that went.

One of the pit stops we made to go to the bathroom and stretch our legs was at a waterfall, Salt Creek Falls. We walked over to actually go look at it so that i could go take some pictures of it. Here's a few pictures from the falls.

 Me and my daughter

I took a few pictures in the after this stop, here's those.

Took this just from the car while driving(my mom was driving)

She kept trying to hide from the camera but managed to get this one.

I was honestly surprised how well that my daughter did on the trip. She hardly got fussy, got in and out of the car very well at our rest stops. She even used the potty at the gas station lol.

First thing we did once we got into town was to check into the hotel. Was a little jealous of my dad's hotel at the time because he went to Spokane Washington the same weekend and got upgraded to a suite. Our room worked for us, but my mom doesn't like being on the second floor and my daughter tends to run/stomp.
Though we weren't staying for very long, my daughter put her shoes away after we got there.

She likes to just climb right into bed when in hotels. Which i find adorable as i have a picture i took of her all tucked into a hotel bed in her first hotel stay.

I didn't really take any pictures of my family when we went to visit them that night, it was starting to get dark and i don't like getting attacked by bugs, so me and my daughter only stayed a short bit before my mom drove us to the hotel and then went back herself. I spent a good bit in the hotel compared to visiting family. Gets a little hard to try and talk to them when you basically get left out and/or don't want to deal with people drinking.

So anyways, went back to the hotel and being like a lot of people(or i'd assume a lot of people...maybe really just a small amount of people lol) i took the chance to get some selfies lol. I didn't like most of the ones i got, but got some decent ones. One of the pictures was just before the memorial service.
Daughter playing with the mirror, you can see her Seatpet on the side.

This is me wearing my reading glasses. I hardly wear them.

Me and my daughter in the car before the service.

We got to the service basically right before it started. Didn't really get to talk to anyone before hand, we pretty much just stood off to the side of everything. That was partly from having my daughter there, just to keep her from disturbing anyone while there. It was a rather large turn out, which wasn't too surprising as my cousin was in the military. The service did seem a little shorter than i thought it would be. Hardly any one went up to say anything about him. It was still a nice service.

My daughter got to run around for a little bit before we left. Though before we left, i took a few photos that i was able to get at the service.

My cousin's mom (left) and his sisters(right)

There was a get together after the service that we almost went to, but after my cousin's death, there's been so much family drama that we just didn't want to put ourselves in it. So instead we went to try and watch Planes....that didn't work out so well as my daughter only lasted about half an hour before getting bored. But at least we tried, expensive trying, but oh well lol.

My mom went over to see the family that night, i decided to just stay at the hotel. Which from the sounds of it, was a better idea because of drama that was going on. Then i guess my mom left at a good time because then even more drama happened.

We didn't exactly have plans for the sunday while there, so we ended up deciding to drive over to Crater Lake. I guess last time i was there i was just a kid, i don't even remember going....though like most of our family trips, i was old enough to enjoy, but too young to remember the stuff now, such as trip to disneyland, or the grand canyon. I remember bits but not enough. So well, we went. My mom thought about it to let me try and get some pictures taken since i enjoy photography. Now my daughter is defiantly too young to remember the trip when she's older, but i'll just take her again in the future. I think i'll just end this post with my pictures i took while at Crater Lake(not all the pictures, but some of the good ones/has a story). We drove around the whole 33 miles around the lake.

We stopped at the souvenir shop first and she saw a purple chocolate she just had to have lol. Just the wrapper was purple

I'm not surprised it was filled but i was surprised she still wanted it after finding out it was filled. I think it was huckleberry.

Just shoving the chocolate in

Mouth full of chocolate

She wanted to wear my glasses

My mom didn't think this was funny lol.

My daughter drinking her milk we got her when we got lunch.

the little island is called Phantom Ship.
